 Artist's Comments This is my cover art for the first chapter of my fan fic "Impossible Dreams". It has been done for a while, but I was just waiting to post it when the first chapter was ready to be posted. I worked on this off and on for several days and I am very proud of it. I did have a close-up of Yuki and Tohru on either side, but I thought about it and decided to leave them out. This is one of the most difficult pictures I have ever colored and I think the effects I was going for came out awesome! The hardest part was to figure out how to get the lamp to glow and on everything around it, but as you can see I figured it out.  I watched the two episodes of Fruits Basket where they actually showed the inside of Yuki's room to see what his bed looked like and what other sort of accessories he has in his room and most importantly where the window was. Now I feel naughty...  Anyway, I altered a few things to go along with the story, but everything else is what it mostly looks like in the anime. Since Yuki likes gardening, I thought it would be cute to have a plant on his headboard thingy rather than books, though I'm sure he likes to read books too. And yes, Yuki has a black eye, I didn't boo boo on the coloring in that spot. Also, I altered Tohru's cloths slightly from a short sleeve sweater to a long sleeve sweater. One more thing I want to point out is that I am VERY happy with their eyes.  If you are curious to see how accurate I am with how Yuki's room looks watch episodes #10 and #26 of Fruits Basket. I would also like to thank  and  for looking over my sketch to see what needed to be fixed. Thank you guys soooooo much!!! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
